ALI Hosts Conversation on IPEF Results with Commerce Department Officials

ALI hosted a robust discussion with Sharon Yuan and Eric Holloway, where they shared the results in the Commerce-led pillars of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF), including the Supply Chain Agreement, Clean Economy Agreement, and the Fair Economy Agreement, as well as next steps in these and other areas. The officials stressed the new nature of these cooperative agreements and expressed optimism about the framework and the prospects for tangible economic opportunities for U.S. businesses and workers, as well as partner countries. They highlighted new initiatives like the establishment of the IPEF Catalytic Capital Fund to pool resources and expand the pipeline of bankable climate projects.
